Cherishing & maintaining your jewellery pieces is important. Sterling Silver jewellery can naturally develop a patina over time.
This occurs when the surface of the metal comes in to contact with oils, makeup, perfumes and chemicals on your skin.
It is recommended that you take off your jewels before you bathe, swim or exercise and avoid contact with chemicals such as creams, makeup, perfumes, salt and chlorinated water where possible. When not wearing your pieces, keep them in their gift box and store in a dry, cool place.
You may clean and help restore the shine to your pieces with a soft, damp microfibre jewellery cloth. Take care not to over-polish as this can remove 18k Gold or anti-tarnish finishes over time.
For more delicate areas such as clasps, you can use a small soft natural bristle brush and warm water. Apply gentle pressure and be sure to completely dry your piece when finished.
